I am a well-rounded graphic designer with enthusiasm and creativity balanced with technical skills in web design, marketing and writing.

I have worked in the field of Graphic Design for over five years. I held three design jobs: Graphic Designer II at Capital Newspapers, Marketing Assistant/Graphic Designer at The University Book Store, and Graphic Design intern at the Menomonie Public Library. Each of the jobs presented me with many interesting challenges that required both independence and the ability to function as a member of a team. They required different strengths and emphases that have combined to give me a broad base of knowledge varying from design creativity to marketing and communication to speed and working under pressure.

In addition to this practical experience, my educational background has provided me with a broad base of knowledge and flexibility. My undergraduate degree is a B.A. in Graphic Design from UW—Stout and I am in the process of earning an Advanced Certificate in Web Design. I stay current by completing tutorials to improve my technical skills and study fine art to keep my artistic abilities strong. I am confident that my education, along with years of graphic design work, and enthusiasm make me an excellent candidate for your job.
